Designing your own print booklet or brochure doesn’t have to be daunting. Here’s how to set up your artwork for print.

• The finished size of an A6 booklet is 105mm x 148mm, so set your artwork up at 111mm x 154mm to add 3mm bleed to both sides.
• You will need to set your cover up as a spread with a spine in the middle.
• The spine width will depend on the amount of pages and stock you choose. Use our spine calculator to add a spine to your cover spread here.
• Add an extra 6mm to the binding side for the safe zone.
• Set your colour mode as CMYK
• Use high resolution images (at least 300dpi)
• Embed or flatten your fonts
